B 40 DPB IX

The B 40 DPB IX is the double call button within Style 40. It combines two push buttons in one common component and is intended for use in landing operating panels, for example for up and down calls.

The combined design creates a clean, visually unified solution for design-oriented panels. The concave push plate integrates flush into the faceplate and forms a subtle recess within the surface.

The matt black push plate made of AlMg, EV6 provides a clear contrast to the illuminated symbols. The arrow symbols are designed in a dot matrix style. The two-colour permanent illumination combines a blue illuminated frame with white illuminated symbols. In the acknowledged state, the symbol illumination changes from white to blue.

The B 40 DPB is designed for faceplates with a thickness of 2 mm or 3 mm and is mounted using welded studs. The installation depth without faceplate is max. 22 mm. The voltage range is 12–30 V DC. The push button has successfully passed a lifetime test of 1 million operations in the SCHAEFER laboratory.
