B 40 R IX Exit

The B 40 R IX is the round push button within Style 40. It is designed for design-oriented elevator operating panels and combines a concave push plate with flush integration into the faceplate.

The matt black push plate made of AlMg, EV6 provides a clear contrast to the illuminated marking. Floor designations and symbols are designed in a dot matrix style. The two-colour permanent illumination ensures precise visual differentiation: the slim frame is illuminated in blue, while the marking is illuminated in white in its standard state. In the acknowledged state, the marking changes from white to blue.

The push button is designed for faceplates with a thickness of 2 mm or 3 mm and is mounted using welded studs. The installation depth without faceplate is max. 21 mm. The voltage range is 12–30 V DC. The B 40 R has successfully passed a lifetime test of 1 million operations in the SCHAEFER laboratory.

The B 40 R is also available with a green ring to indicate the main exit floor. When used as an alarm button, the symbol and frame are illuminated in yellow.
