The impressive size of 58 mm lateral length/diameter and the high variability open up new fields of application: The button series is perfectly suited for lifts with increased accessibility. Individual design options complete the profile of the button series B 50.

Class 3+

The demands as per EN 81‑71 Class 2 are often not sufficient for many applications. For highly frequented and vandalism-exposed lifts, SCHAEFER has developed special buttons which are twice as robust as demanded by EN 81‑71 Class 2. SCHAEFER Class 3+ fulfils the norms EN 81‑71 Class 1/Class 2 and EN 81‑72, offers a higher impact resistance and with protection class IP 54 an improved dust protection and water protection. The impact resistance test for SCHAEFER Class 3+ is conducted with a 20 joule/5 kg impactor from a height of fall of 0.4 m compared to 10 joule/1 kg from 1 m (as per EN 81‑71 Class 2).
