Magnet switch for retrofitting a position indicator according to EN 81-70. Ideally suited for modernisation of installations with lift controllers that do not have an output of floor signals.
The function at one glance:
- At each stop in the shaft, magnets are being positioned.
- The magnet switch is mounted on the car roof and connected with the impulse converter.
- Once the car is travelling, the magnet switch detects the magnets at the stops and gives a signal to the impulse converter.
- The impulse converter transforms the signal and transmits a dual code to the display.
- When the car enters the lowest stop, the magnet releases a signal on the reference track so that the impulse converter may synchronise.
