Entirely pre-wired fixtures in the conventional way in 3-wire or 4-wire technology have been part of SCHAEFER’s service since the first fixture systems. The cost-intensive and extensive assembly by skilled labour on site is not necessary – the fixtures are being delivered as plug-and-play components and just need to be connected with the lift controller. In this case, connection is done using a 37 pin respectively 25 pin D-Sub cable. With the D-Sub connection, up to 16 stops in the fixture are possible with 3-wire-technology and up to ten stops with 4-wire-technology.
SCHAEFER is also offering conventional wiring via D-Sub cable and the component Interface IF 99. Via the interface the entire supply of the fixture is done and many controller-specific pin assignments are already realized. The IF 99 is available in the standard version (IF 99 V), for desk-shaped fixtures (IF PULT) and as a luminous variant with emergency light function, emergency call pictogrammes and overload indicator (IF 99 TRIPLE). The interface comes with ten connectors for up to ten stops, four or five special buttons – depending on the variant – and a display (DMD/MFD 99). For wiring via the interface all buttons and indicators are equipped with a Micro Match connector, other components can be connected via screw terminals.
